Wow what a year 2021 was! We had a year of many ups and downs. The space we’re currently living in however, gives us the opportunity to appreciate and cherish the valuable moments in 2021 when we shared gatherings (of more than 100 people) with loved ones, friends, family and/or co-workers.
During these unprecedented times, as an event stylist we’ve been constantly adapting and updating our business procedures, protocols and health and safety to ensure the overall safety of our staff, contractors and clients. We’re conscious of the risk it takes to continue a celebration under government restrictions. While we’ve been empathetic to those who have been unable to celebrate their special occasion with us, we’ve been a cheerleader to those who have been fortunate enough to.
The Year of Growth
2021 was a year of growth for Bloom Shine Events. We completed a business record number of events last year by tripling our previous years. These events varied from birthday celebrations, baby showers, product launches, wedding receptions, store openings, awards nights, corporate events and Christmas functions. Not only did we triple the number of events we dressed, we also expanded our range of hire items and services to Event Styling.
New Hire Items
As we steam ahead into 2022 we have some new hire items on the horizons such as new furniture (ghost acrylic chairs, acrylic table tops), serveware (gold cutlery, charger plates, cake stands) and decor (candle holders, table centrepiece plinths & neon lighting). Over the horizon to pair with our new hire items we have new services to offer such as Event Styling, Corporate Styling and soon to be, Wedding Styling.
Last year we sponsored ‘The Festival of the Future’, ‘Te Omanga Hospice Vinters’ lunch’, and ‘Pink Ribbon NZ Cocktail Event’. Each year we sponsor $2,500 worth of hire items and/or event styling to fundraiser events and/or events promoting growth for our community. We recognise the work we do is for, and within our community, so we thank all of our returning clients and local vendors for your constant support.
